FROM is an independent UK-based company set up and run by artists and printers. With years of specialist experience in their respective fields, the ethos of the brand is simple: To offer high quality T-shirts and other clothing, with exclusive designs that come FROM the artists themselves.

The organisation has similarities to the way an independent record label works - a collection of artists under one umbrella who work within common and overlapping genres - in this case the ever widening fields of graffiti, street art, graphic design and illustration. Each artist has their own unique style and personal quality control, meaning that the standard of designs on FROM is always of the highest order.

Many of the artists involved work in media such as canvas, murals and print. Their work in these areas is often ephemeral, out of reach or limited by availability, time or cost. A key part of the FROM ethos is to offer the work of these artists to the world in a more accessible format - in this case as clothing.

Another important element of FROM is that we work outside of the traditional fashion 'seasons' and 'collections'. For this reason we will regularly have new designs and products available as opposed to a collection or glut of stuff every few months. Each design is carefully created and selected on its own merits, not just to fill a design quota by some artificial deadline. Also, because we print all the garments in-house we can afford to be more experimental with our range and try out new designs with small initial runs. We are also able to be highly reactive to new ideas, and can go from on-paper concept to on-shelf reality in a matter of days.
